I haven't got the space and I'm too old now for a restoration but if that wasn't the case, I'd be very tempted by this https://www.brightwells.com/timed-sale/5...-217941265

Looks very solid and is pretty much all there the only bits missing looking to be some script wheels, a correct windscreen and a correct carb. A good buy for someone although at less than estimate perhaps.

Interesting. Apart from the bits already mentioned, did anyone else notice the banana-shaped steering tube and wonder what sort of prang caused it? In consideration of the present "price crisis" one wonders what it might command - £5000?

Of the two, I think I'd stick with the one at Brightwells. Rather more honest, at least from the photos of both. The rot at the bottom of the scuttle at either side on the yellow one would be a concern.
