Don't ask me, I'm French.

The stepped bolt on my car keeps unscrewing itself, but luckily the bottom of the distributor body stops it coming up so far that it falls out. If I try to tighten it up then the distributor adjustment locks up. Should there be a washer or spring under the head of the bolt?

Hi David

I think there should be a spring under the head.

Cheers
