I have contacted ERS, insurer of the RH scheme, with regard to the 'any driver over 25' extension to cover. This is the response I have received:
"We have not specifically excluded X25 (endorsement for any driver over 25) for the Austin 7 Association.
The X25 / X30 driving restriction does create a referral into Underwriting and we review on a case by case basis. As per the Underwriting guide “We will allow policies with up to 5 named drivers. Driving restrictions of “any driver over 25” or “any driver over 30” may be considered for multiple vehicle policies (or in exceptional cases (e.g. car club VIPs)).”
If you would therefore like me to approach ERS and ask if they can provide the 'any driver over 25 extension', please email your postcode to me and I will check.
