Antifreeze...again
#11
I use 'Hexeal' Ethylene glycol antifreeze, available from their shop on ebay.

Hello,
one of the many questions that have frequently been discussed among some German A7 club members... and... I have to admit ... has been ignored by me for many years. Finally one very experienced member (owner of some stunningly restored vehicles) convinced me that this is the antifreeze to use:

EuroLub Kühlerschutz ANF

Personally I don't use anti-freeze, I simply drain the radiator when leaving the car in the winter months.
I do think there's a good case for using a corrosion inhibitor. Penrite make one specifically for vintage vehicles, though I'd warn that it attacks enamel paint.
If you drive an open Seven you may be familiar with the spray of coolant in your eyes first time you touch the brakes? If so I suggest reading the toxicity datasheet carefully.
