if people want something more central, and hopefully im not letting anything out early here (well ive had 3 people tell me about it so far).

but aparently the austin 7 woolaton event is being held at stonehurst this year?

its a lovely venue, as you know.

not quite beaulieu, but it does have an on site motor museum.

anyone looking to do more than one day, there are plenty of local eating houses, and about 10 pubs in a 2 mile radius. the great central railway is only a couple of miles down the road, if you want a day on the steam engines. also very good small road drive areas, around swithland and the lakes.

it doesnt matter were you enjoy 100 years of sevening, but if you want one in the middle of the country. there you go.

Good to hear from you Tony. Looking forward to the local shows this year also. Will
Keep you posted about Hinckley one as looks like we having a specific spot this year to display the cars which will be good. Barry Mearns dug this one out over the weekend. I did see that David Booth mentioned stonehurst being a wollaton rally replacement venue this year so will keep a look out. The good old club days with the midshires taken after the 1992 Jogle. We had some fun back then with Mr wilcox  Take care and catch up soon regards Joe

i had a drink with the organisers after mallory, and most use the pub in the next village.

they showed alot of interest i a display. hopefully we can get a bit of everything there. to show the car versatility.

The final word on dogs and the centenary event (I hope). What is to become of the people helping out in a general dogsbody role. Sorry folks just trying add a little humour.

I think they do know their arses from their elbows. After all they most of their lives licking their own and sniffing others.
I am a dog lover and have had several in the past but now adore other peoples dogs — I tickle them behind the ears and their owners pay the vet’s bill.
