Something that's made me smile for many years, Duncan. I often wondered how popular the book/story/film/show etc. would have been if the real meaning of the title was more widely known. Maybe if that was to happen now, the 'woke' brigade would look to have all reference to it disappear for ever.
John Warburton put a lot into his Aston, a car he'd known for many years before finally acquiring it. He once told me that just after his restoration was finished he took it to an AMOC meeting thinking it would be well received. Regretfully, nobody there was interested in such a funny old car preferring instead the shiny, modern Astons they all owned.
