Lovely day down here today, not a cloud in the sky and it's about 21°C. Perfick. Got the RP out just before lunch for a tootle into the Cévennes to see the Chapelle de Mondajors" which is reputed to be the smallest church in France having a surface area of 29m². I couldn't verify that because the door was locked. Presumably you have to ask for the key at the town hall, but I was a bit pushed for time so didn't bother. It's a nice drive up a very narrow and winding lane which follows the Galeizon river, close to St Paul la Coste which the Dunford family passed on their way from Rekkers Towers to Meyruis last year. It's very much in the middle of nowhere. Apparently the chapel is a remnant of the chateau that once stood on the spot, but it was destroyed during the wars of religion at the beginning of the 18th century. The Chapel which seats 15 is the only part that survived. 37km from here. Took me 3/4hr.
