What have you done today with your Austin Seven
Ivor,
My observations are:-
1.Make sure the chemical for plating is clean, no bits floating around.
2.Polish the brass to the best finish you can.
3. Use less than 5volts and very little current 0.300 milli amps or so.
4.The longer you leave it the more deposit you get about an hour is good.

Today we have done nothing with our Austin 7(s).
For a change three of us went to Brighton in a rather small 1901 car with only one 498cc cylinder.
We got there, 60+ miles, 8 hours.
Finished just behind the Veteran Bicycles.

Registered as a 1921 Colliot, but looks earlier. Wonderful!

That appears to be the "Date of registration", so not when it was built. It's a 1901 Colliot.

Having just looked it up this was built before registration numbers existed. 1903 apparently.

I think it's early life was as a private estate vehicle, not used on the public highway.
The Liverpool registration is indeed much later, when it was used on public roads.
It seems to be the only one remaining.
De Dion Bouton 4 1/2 hp. engine.

Did you have a trouble free run Henry or was unscheduled maintenance required?

We were once offered a ride on the event and regret not taking up the offer.
