Thanks for the comments.
The combination of all those tablets and antibiotics appear to be fighting each other as I have felt like a zombie the last purple of days, or something I’ve eaten, so have stopped taking tablets until I speak with my Doctor.
A few days prior to my Blue & Twos episode, I had discovered severe rot in one of the Lounge window frame and had just finished cutting it all out and replacing with new wood, foam and sealer, and just in time.

Short update.
Nothing is being done on the Ruby, to my utter frustration and annoyance, as the hospital prescribed medication (tablets) are not playing fair and making me feel worse than I was when in hospital.
I had been able to walk just over 1/2 mile morning and evening by end August but downhill since then.
Geoff - Time to have it out with the hospital specialists‼️

Sorry you aren't making the recovery you expected. Alas, we don't 'bounce' after major medical intervention the way we used to! here's hoping that every week brings improvement is not each day and GET WELL SOON!

David.

The good news is that you are still above ground Geoff!
That means the doctors have a good chance of getting you back on track, think of yourself and the Ruby as being in the same boat, you are both basically sound and with a little application, you’ll both be firing on all four cylinders again.
We are all willing you on!

Thanks Dave.
Ivor,
Had a good laugh about being above ground ??
Geoff - Beginning to understand how the Ruby feels now as well ?
Need to get this off of my chest!
Was able to start walking within 12 days of leaving hospital culminating in doing 2km split morning and evening by end August.
Things have come to a grinding halt as hospital prescribed tablets are making me feel like a zombie.
Stopped taking them to clear the system and soon back walking with ease.
Then started one tablet at a time to try and find which one was making me to feel so bad and guess what, ALL.
Now looking for natural substitutes, with garlic/aspirin being one of the most important.
The hospital put me on aspirin for a week when I left, then big pharma tablets and zombie time.
Geoff - I’m DONE with F****N big pharma‼️‼️

Update.
Had a good chat with family doctor a few weeks ago and am now back on hospital tablets.
Started taking one at a time, waiting a week before the next to let body acclimatise, the last tablet tonight.
Feeling well enough to do a fairly brisk easy 2km walk nearly each day now, and feeling good afterwards, something I haven’t been able to do beforehand without taking it easy.
Was thinking of fitting a servo motor to the Singer 660A1 sewing machine, to have complete and easy speed control for leather work, having already slowed it down to the best of my ability from the speed merchant it was, but today had another look at either fitting a stop to the foot pedal or some other way to prevent the pedal travelling too far and sending the machine onto overdrive, and think I’ve nailed it.
Will experiment tomorrow.
I don’t use the machine often enough for muscle memory to help, hence a physical stop needed.
Geoff - back on the Ruby soon with luck
