Corroded water inlet stud boss
#4
You can make your own plate up.. A bit of brass or stainless about 1/2" wide and 3/16" thick and long enough to bridge the gap. Tap a hole in that for a new 1/4" stud. Put this plate behind the broken "boss" and screw the new stud through the broken boss and into your new bridge piece. You could use some epoxy stuff to hold the plate in place whilst you fit the water manifold. I had to do the same on the top hose outlet on the cylinder head 40 years ago - still works !
