Being time for an eye test, I decided that a shortish journey to an optician in Abergavenny was a rather better option than driving to Barnard Castle.
Lovely though the scenery of South Wales is in the spring, I have no idea how and why the image got to be so big! Probably absolutely nothing to do with the disappearance of the quote button, but you never know....

Steve - same colours as my '37 that I bought for £5 back in 1964 (CCE 954) but I expect she went to the scrappy a long time ago although there was no rot about her.

Today I have mostly stripped the body right back to basics, welded up any holes and refinished the old bus using two pack etch primer and jet black top coat...it’s a bit “jammy” as we used to say but a flat and polish should knock it back a bit and keep it looking more like an 80 year old car should look!
