Hi all, I am after a bit of advice please, I was sorting out a corner of the garage when I come across an Austin10 carb VA26. It is in very good condition and I was wandering can it be used onĀ A7 Ruby? apart from the jets is there any difference between the actual carb body? can I run it with the A10 jests or re jet it for our Ruby. What do you think?. Thanks. S&P
P..S It is the SWA7 Clubs rally next week held at Bryngarw, near Bridgend.

I suggest you check that the choke tube is the same for both engines. If they are different the jet change for fitting a 10 carb to a 7 will involve some experimentation, and standard 7 jets are unlikely to give good results.

Using an A10 carb on and A7 makes the tick over hunt and gives you a flat spot on pick up.
