Dynamo Cut Out

Does anyone have a failed cutout? I am looking for one which I can pull to pieces and use the case to mask a solid state device.

It is for a Ruby, but the model does not really matter. I just want a period looking case.

Do you mean the regulator / cut out and fusebox unit that sits on the bulkhead?
If so, I may have one if I can find the upper cover.

Yes, that is the device: the cut out which stops the battery from over-charging. It does not need to work.

I've definitely got one where the cutout is corroded and most likely non-funtional. I need to find the upper cover though which isn't with it, but I think I have somewhere. I need to clear the garage up this evening so hopefully I'll find it.

I found the top cover but it's very rusty - gone right through on top so you'd need to find another one but the rest might suit you with a bit of cleaning.

And the wire clip that holds the bottom cover on is missing but you could probably bend a new one out of suitable wire.
