Dynamo Cut Out - Jamie - 31-05-2019 Does anyone have a failed cutout? I am looking for one which I can pull to pieces and use the case to mask a solid state device. Regards, Jamie. RE: Dynamo Cut Out - JonE - 31-05-2019 might be a good idea to say which type is suitable for your car/age... RE: Dynamo Cut Out - Jamie - 31-05-2019 It is for a Ruby, but the model does not really matter. I just want a period looking case. RE: Dynamo Cut Out - Geoff101 - 03-06-2019 Do you mean the regulator / cut out and fusebox unit that sits on the bulkhead? If so, I may have one if I can find the upper cover. RE: Dynamo Cut Out - Jamie - 03-06-2019 Geoff. Yes, that is the device: the cut out which stops the battery from over-charging. It does not need to work. Thank you Jamie. RE: Dynamo Cut Out - Geoff101 - 06-06-2019 I've definitely got one where the cutout is corroded and most likely non-funtional. I need to find the upper cover though which isn't with it, but I think I have somewhere. I need to clear the garage up this evening so hopefully I'll find it. Geoff RE: Dynamo Cut Out - Jamie - 06-06-2019 Geoff. That would be perfect. I could pull it pieces without worrying about ruining something that works well. Thank you. RE: Dynamo Cut Out - Geoff101 - 06-06-2019 I found the top cover but it's very rusty - gone right through on top so you'd need to find another one but the rest might suit you with a bit of cleaning. And the wire clip that holds the bottom cover on is missing but you could probably bend a new one out of suitable wire. RE: Dynamo Cut Out - Jamie - 06-06-2019 That would be ideal. How much would you want for it? Jamie. RE: Dynamo Cut Out - Geoff101 - 07-06-2019 I've sent you a PM. |
