That's interesting Tony, I've noticed that I haven't had to use my rear window blind when driving the Seven at night for the last couple of years because modern car headlights don't turn the windscreen into a mirror. Having said that Sue won't drive at night saying all the lights dazzle her, I have a pair of clip on Polaroid anti glare glasses which cut out any dazzle but I haven't needed them for a few years.
On my return home from the Red Lion down long hill about 3 moderns went flying past me, however by Newtown I'd caught them up. Whilst the transit van behind me took the short cut over the hills from Whalley Bridge to Disley, not a good Seven route with all it's speed humps and only quicker if there are roadworks on the A6. I gave him a wave when he pulled up behind me at the traffic lights on the A555.
