Well this is how far I've got so far.
Some of it's slow going.
Painted the ceiling and finished the partition christmas eve.
And put the floor matting down yesterday.

Well done, looks very smart.
I’ve used similar floor tiles on my garage floor. In my case they covered a multitude of sins! Dusty concrete and a very uneven floor! Despite this they work really well!!

Hi Howard,
The floor isn't to bad, a little crumble here and there.
The main problems are nothing being even. Inc the floor.
I built the barn 22 years ago.
I done the concrete mix myself, one mix at a time in a wheel Barrow.
The picture below shows what happens when you drill into concrete.
It took 6 tins of spray glue to hold the tiles down.

hi chris,
the bricks are sealed with PVA.
so no worry of brick dust.
i prefer the brick finish.

hi gene,
i picked that piece of info up from willenhall fasteners around 8 years ago?
i dont think ive used a nut or bolt in this build yet, and im sure i wasnt given an option on whitworth screws.

That's another 13 hours, but it is getting there.

I have another three sets of shelves to install, and my stack of stall trays.
But I'm out of plywood.
So I'll move things over during the weekend, and fit monday.

That’s looking very impressive- and an inspiration as I’m working on an extension to my workshop, and need to think about parts storage.
Out of interest, where did you get those nice doos from?

Hi colin,
The doors were the most expensive part of the build at £169.00 each.
I bought them on ebay, from a company called Grays gates. They have different sizes, but I still had to trim and add two inches in high with the drip rail at the base.
As all the labour is my own, the total cost of the build has come to £1,200. I have the light all inside that. But yet to fit.
