RP Sunroof Tracks - Drainage Slots
#1
Based on a survey of various cars and photos I believe original RP sunroof track sets had two rectangular holes just aft of the roof opening to allow water to escape - something like this:

Is anyone able to share some dimensions please i.e. length x height of each hole & their position in relation to the cross-bar of the metal frame?

Thanks in advance...

Yes that’s exactly the same on my Ruby.
I believe when closed one slot each side the back sliding edge.
One to drain the front and one to drain the back.
I know there is a diagram in the “Source Book”
Not sure it’s dimensioned ?

Thanks Dave. Looks a little different to me though - the RP holes are cut through the side of the rails themselves.

Hi Tiger - yes, those are Phil Baildon's drawings which are preserved in the A7 Archive. No detailed dimensions though for RP drain holes.
