Sliding roof runners
#1
In my ongoing reinstallation of my sliding roof, my attentions today are going to turn to the operation of the sliding panel. I have some very 'dense' felt I plan to cut pads from to fix to the metal runner brackets. Has anyone got any really good ideas how I should do this? I am thinking Evostick, but would be interested to hear any other proven approaches?

I was faced with the same problem on our RN Hugh and tried Evostick 30 years ago and it's still in place.

That, as they say Dave, is the right answer...

Thanks so much, I shall forge ahead..

cheers...

Edit: Actually, I was taught a tip from tech support at Evostick a while back. If you make up a 'primer' of evostick let down with some of the Evostick Cleaner/solvent and pre-coat the two surfaces to touch dry, *then* use the Evostick, you get much better adhesion.. Seems to work...
