Possibly of interest to some - I stumbled upon this article, about an Austin Seven which made appearances in the Indian TV series "Malgudi Days" which ran from 1986.

The TV series is available on Youtube. I think the 1st appearance referred to in the article must be episode 43:-

It's a nicely written travelogue too. I especially liked the part where he improvised his wife as a gravity fuel feed!
