Chassis Frame Maker
#1
I've come across this advertisement in the RAC Guide & Handbook for 1934-35.
I always thought that Austin's manufactured all their own chassis.
The advert suggests otherwise...and did The Projectile & Engineering Co also supply axle casings?

Just reading the advert perhaps it suggests that they can offer replacement chassis for just about anything you want, rather than that they supply all these manufacturers, which, if true, would suggest a huge and probably well known company? There is quite a lot on google, including some pictures:

"It was a munitions factory which was a leading supplier of shells during the Boer War and was obviously doing a lot of business during the First World War. During the Second World War the firm hired women to work in the factory – possibly they did the same in the First World War. The firm was bought by GKN Sankey Ltd in the 1960s and the factory ceased production in 1965, some records of the company are with the Sankey records in Wolverhampton."
Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think!

Probably not Seven chassis, which used a unique section, but maybe they made side-members for some of the larger Austins?
