Mystery parts, part 1
#1
I recently acquired a quantity of parts, some clearly not Austin 7, but some that either are or could be used for a special, and some that might fit other cars in your fleet. Some have reference numbers, but I'm struggling to find cross references on line.

If you recognise anything and can point me in the direction of the vehicle or vehicles it fits, that would be amazing.

Everything needs to find a home, so if it's useful to you, please make me an offer...

Windscreen pillars...
Windscreen... (may have been modified? )
Reeded Lucas headlight lenses ref No. 714
Domed Lucas headlight lenses (like Ruby but bigger)

But not necessarily in that order!

Hi Nick,

The windscreen pillars are definitely 1935 to 1938 Series 1 & 2 Morris 8 Tourer and Two-Seater. I don't think the windscreen is though - the top of a Morris 8 Tourer / Two-Seater screen is totally flat - yours appears to show a slight curvature? I would also suggest that the top corner radius' of a Morris 8 screen are slightly tighter than yours appear to be.

Jeff.

That 'Horseshoe' lamp glass looks like a Lucas one. There are a few sizes, the most common is probably the Morris 10/4 size that goes in a 7.25" ID rim, the OD of the rim is 8.25" the lamp glass is just over 7.75 OD"

These are bigger still, 7.75" ID and 9" external on the rim. I have found a lucas reference D810-3

The last one looks like the Lucas - Graves type fitted to RN's. Depends on the diameter
