Hi Daisy
I didn't get my first lathe until I was about fifty years older than you are now, so you have a real start on me!
I look forward to hearing that you know as much about all this as your Dad does, which I have a feeling may be quite soon.
Good luck with the build,
Regards
Colin

Excellent, Daisy. It won't be long before you have an engine that works. Well done!

Best wishes,

Stuart

Top job Daisy!
I know where to come the next time I need the Nippy's engine re builiding - maybe you'll be the first one to succeed in making it oil tight after 32 years + of not managing it yet!...

Welcome Daisy
I have a feeling this post is going to become a bit of a bible for all, covering techniques and processes we never even knew we should do, let alone learnt at 11.
Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think!

Fascinating post, Daisy, and so good to see you learning how to do things properly from the outset (Of course, with you being a Dunford, I wouldn't have expected anything else!)
I look forward to further posts.

Well done!
