      When visiting my elderly  friend saturday he was looking through some photos this was one he pulled out .On the back it said Miss Ann Shead . Adelaide 1929 . He told me that she became a neighbour of his  where he lives in Halland  E . Sussex and gave him the photo ,i asked if i could pop it on here for others to see .

Hi All

Great work in improving the photo.  I think it might be a 1927 Holden Roadster (others more knowledgeable will correct).

It’s a very pretty car. It’s a shame the shape wasn’t copied here in Britain.

Beat me to it- yes a Holden Roadster which was made by Holdens in Adelaide, although there are other Australian copies of this style.

I just checked the list of Australian Austin 7 Bodies- Propert made a similar Roadster in 1927 and another builder called Sweeny ? made a Roadster in 1930.

Looks like 1927/28 with a round bottom painted radiator and single glass windscreen but fitted with the later Lucas 7" headlights up front . 

My 1928  Holden bodied Chummy has the 5" headlights mounted up front in what look to be factory brackets.
