Just came across this while I was looking through the LAT photos I never got round to posting.

Thought it was rather a good picture.

Start of the Scottish 6 Day Trial - Alexander’s Garage in Edinburgh on Sunday May 17th 1931.

Reg on the shiny saloon is GG 3194.

looking at the difference between scuttle and bonnet finishes may suggest it is a fabric saloon?

I think the waist-moulding and colour scheme make it a steel saloon (RL).

looking at the joint between the scuttle and windscreen area, I would agree with you.
