At first glance had me puzzled. The compound table seems identical those incorporated in Chinese mill drills; puzzled how you had come to acquire a plain table which neatly fitted a common mill drill!
In the early 70s when machinery was relatively expensive I purchased a Chinese new mill drill thinking it would avoid buying a small drill. but for most driling tasks it proved too slow speed and too cumbersome and less rigid than lathe and has been very little used. Quite recenly I came across a basically sound but black with dirt and no handles compound table for $50 (L25) at a swap meet and could not resist. Have occassionally lifted it onto the drill press to mill slots in wood, but lifting it now almost beyond me.
Chinese mill drills have doubled in price, but wages have increased about 25 times!
