I walked across the frozen Bristol harbour to my workplace in the shipyard,when the Mardyke Ferry became icebound.

It's OK, Ian, the Met Office and media seem obsessed with overplaying the bad-weather hand. I bet we have a couple of mm here in the Peak District, turning to rain soon afterwards.

It's certainly entertaining seeing the faces of the 4WD owners,as I swiftly pass them by in the Chummy or the Top Hat
