Surely those ebay ones have potential for removing the glass for a re-use of original? They were cheap enough to do so when bought in a multiple; certainly still cheaper than the Workshop ones at the time.
Or did you find them unsuitable, Stuart?

Ah, sorry to hear that, but at least my brain’s still working!

Thankfully I had a couple “in stock” for the box saloon, the shells and rims are knackered, but at least the lights work!

I've had it in mind to try the latest Wipac Quadoptic, which have the advantage of plastic reflectors making them lighter and possibly easier to cut off the glass? Have a look here: https://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/p...tegory/187.
