to no avail. Emails remain unanswered.
In Desperation I have now contacted Hagerty who have come up with a very competitive

Smiley,

Re RH, you need to contact Emma Airey - Head of RH Specialist Vehicle Insurance direct regarding your insurance renewal. I believe her email address and her posts feature in recent threads on here about members various insurance renewal issues - I believe she has been very helpful in resolving many of these. She can also be contacted via the Facebook 'Austin Seven' private group page.

See this thread below which includes her email address:

Smiley,

Your initial post needs to be in 'Forum Chat' - you've placed it in 'Management info box' .... 'What's new or coming up' .... you'll probably get little response from placing it in the section you have.

Did you try phoning? I received my annual renewal notice in the post a couple of weeks ago and gave them a call, which was answered straight away.

I’ve been with Hagerty for 31 years and leats found them responsive and reasonably priced.

On the subject of insurance, for all French registered vehicles the "vignette verte" (green sticker) for insurance will no longer be needed with effect from 1st April this year (no joke). This is because the Forces of Order have access to fully computerised vehicle records and the sticker has become outdated (and easily forged).
