I have just opened the box containing a 060 piston etc. The gudgeon pin is ground for the little end bolt but there are two circlips in the box. Should they be used as well as the clamping bolt. V

The circlips are for use with fully floating gudgeon pins.

The gudgeons must be readily moveable in the pistons; tight ones a cuase of pinch bolt failure.
