archive of Registered Designs?
#1
Ruairidh has posted some Gordon England patents here https://gordonenglandregister.wordpress....d-patents/ but I wonder if anyone knows how I might go about seeking a 1930 "registered design" for an Austin 7 coachbuilt body, which I think is a different process entirely?

I'm not clear what you're trying to do, Jon. Are you looking for historical information on an existing registered design, or are you trying to retrospectively register an existing design? If it' the latter, I think that you'll find that it would be virtually impossible to register a design effectively. Any slight variation would make it a different design.

exactly as I wrote, Martin - I am seeking a 1930 "Registered Design" i.e. where one might be lodged in the first place and how one may unearth it. The wording is noted in passing in a new car report, so it could potentially give more technical information about how someone could rebuild one... if we knew where to look.

Thanks both - I've contacted Kew. It looks like it could be there, but nothing online.
