At 2610metres the Col del Nivolet is worth a visit. North of Turin, it’s a dead end as far as normal vehicles are concerned (well it was anyway) the walk on up to Gran Paradiso is worth the trip, as is the mountain goat stew and polenta in the Rifugio.
