A bit of a long shot, perhaps, but does anyone have a bunch of bananas exhaust manifold spare that they would be happy to sell?

Same here. Oxfordshire Sevens do sell them, but they have had none for a while.

Shouldn’t be too hard to get one made at an car exhaust making place. I use JP Exhausts in Congleton.

Yep I'm guessing that's the best way, a colleague told me about a plastic tube kit you can buy to mock up manifolds before having them made...
Sounds like another project !
