Hello all, has anyone built up an engine and just used thread lock on the gudgeon pin bolts to keep them secure and tight. If so have you had any problems. In the past I have used it but not been brave enough to leave out the locking tabs. All views on this will be appreciated

I have never used the lock washers, always thread lock and a spring washer.

I don’t use tab washers, either. Just thread lock and a spring washer.
