Fibre washers.

The smallest smear of JB weld smeared on the clean face, then nipped with an oiled washer at the face seems to have filled the pits very well. I will give it a day or so to fully cure before I do anything else.

If I have no joy, I have some 567, used for sealing pipes on my roller. I will smear that on both faces of the fibre washer and see how it goes. Trouble is I know that If I ever need to break the joint, the washer will stick and have to he scraped off.
