Cup Model
#11
I believe the bulkhead and dashboard were mounted entirely seperately from the body, they certainly were on Gordon England saloons. I expect the fabric is the standard way of preventing draft and fumes from entering the passenger compartment. On the saloons there was a leather joint between the edge of the bulkhead and the scuttle. The design allowed for the bits related to the engine to be fixed to the same bit of chassis, but the main body fixings were further back, so chassis twist did not strain the bodywork.
