My noIt depends on your mounting brackets,are they as original,Do you want to mount the s/c to line up the manifolds.
Bolt pattern on the original is 7"x2" but you would be better to use a straight bar though all the bearing bores to get the alignment right.
I used normal pan head screws,back facing the inside of the crank case,the top holes have a big radius to the top face of the c/c.
Adding a brace to the base flange is a good idea.
