Building my first Austin Seven car

sorry i haven't been in touch in a while, as you can see Peter has been very busy on the body and brought it to us last week. he has done a very good job and i am very pleased with it, thank you peter.

we had a free day today so we decided we would work on the van.

the first job was to replace the back axle bracket because it was too tall, so we took the body off so we could fix it

   

then we put the felt on the chassis with rivets and hen painted it with wax oil

           

then we put the cow horns on the front and bolted some wing brackets onto it.

   

then we put the radiator on and it started to look a bit more like a car!

       

then we put Tony's seat covers on the frames and it looked amazing!  thank you tony

but sadly that is all we can do for a while as Dad is not free the next few months.
