Lovely to see the photograph coloured Tony. Also the excellent detective work, the picture is dated August 1949 so after the hostilities.
So, 1949 - the white sunglasses must have been works prototypes! Actually, they did exist in that form, but I can only find large "fun and wacky" ones at the moment..
