I have just redone the mesh on the Special rad surround - the old one restricted air flow too much.

Found 'Speciality Metals' in Warrington, on ebay, and am delighted with what they have supplied. Their online shop makes it easy to choose the appropriate size and, handily, gives the % of open area in the mesh.

The one I have used is 0.9mm SS304 stainless steel with 4 'holes' per inch. Give 74% open area. A 500mm x 500mm piece was £16.66 with free postage. Usual disclaimers.
