Refitted the door cards, floor and seats,
Plus adjusted the cockpit cappings.
Just checking the fit of all of these before Nyalicing the body.
( the stuff goes off quickly and is remarkably tough and hard!
It can’t be scratched with your nail and is a soft gloss
Not too shiny either)
Need to do those bits of the body that the trim and
cappings meet up with.
Once the front and rear scuttles are coated
all the trim can go on finally!
Will now start to measure up the wiring
And where to mount the cutout, coil etc.
Hoping to get the repaired nosecone
And starting handle back this week
Which will finalise the set of the radiator and let me
make a bracket to brace the headlight mountings.
Wiring up is my favourite part of restorations
