Sorry, didn't think anyone else would be interested. First pic shows the lower part of the cable which passes between the drag link and ther radius arm, and avoiding the brake cable. If you look closely you can follow the curve of the outer cable all the way to the bulkhead.

The second picture shows the location of the cable from the bulkhead grommet leading to the back of the dashboard. It passes to the right hand side of the coil down to the offside of the radius arm:

The cable is free and not secured other than by the gearbox connection and the bulkhead grommet. It has been like that for 40 years.
