also do a tail 3-in-1 led which gives you stop/tail/indicator. This set up allows you to have bright sidelights for daytime visibility should you so wish. (again no connection other than as satisfied customer)

Thank you all for your observations. Duncan -hadn't considered the issue of vibration. Food for thought! Paul good idea to check the regs wasn't sure of where I would find that, so again helpful advice.

The 1933 /34 sports had the side light inside the headlight.
There used to be converters to fit a pre focus 7" reflector into the 1933 onwards lamp unit which can also have a side light inside the headlamp.
The car in my avatar has 7" pre focus units inside larger lucas lamp units from an MG. ( I now have replica original lamps fitted )
