One more for the road
#1
Bought in 1977, and at last on the road.
Many thanks to all who have helped me on the way.
Now the sorting out begins...
Graham

PS Sorry I can't see how to rotate the picture

A couple of views of the car as bought.  It had been Ruby-ised a lot and the chassis had worn its way through the floor! The seats were loose, and sitting on blocks of wood.
I must have been mad, but the journey has been fun.
Graham

Nice job there Colin. Don't beat yourself up about the time it took to restore it. Ours only took 33 years !

It looks good Graham but I won't show Sue the photo as she will want a wiper on her side.,

Looks lovely.  Good to see that the side vents have been painted and not brassed.  The only difference I can see from 'as new' is that the innermost part of the rad shell has not been painted black.  Why did Austin do this as it seems unnecessary work when trying to build to a budget?
