I agree. A very handsome car....with a spare wheel cover fitted in the brochure...Somehow the chassis/body height looks as if it is lowered.
Was it fitted with the rather problematical 12/6 engine? Or the stronger one I wonder?
I considered a 30's 12/6 tourer I spotted for sale in California some years back, but was put off by horror stories about the engine. I Bought a really nice RK that came with a "free" Spares Car AG tourer instead!

Many years ago I owned a Ripley but without the sports engine. i believe it was, in period, one of Derbyshire's police cars.
A very enjoyable car.
