Never! By a happy coincidence, I found a picture of a Swallow that matched exactly the profile, size and angle of the drawing. Usually, it's a lot of messing about to get it even half right. This time it just dropped straight in.

Compared with his jacket, the girl is likely worried about hypothermia.

In a Swallow a fair chance of stripping or dislocating something.

Just exitting the car excited could be fraught.

Having had a long association with Jowett Javelin cars and owners, several have suffered the experience. (The gearbox was designed for an 8hp model! Jowetts later made themselves, even more frail than the bought in product. Triggered end of the make.) About the worst fate with a late Seven is getting stuck in 1st or, worse, 1st and 2nd together. In the day arriving late home would stir parents. Being locked in 1st would have to be demonstrated.
