SWA7 Rally

Hi All

Just a quick report on the South Wales rally at Bryngarw over this last weekend.

Great weather….always a good sign.

13 cars on the run on Saturday, not too inauspicious as everyone got round (yours truly went visiting relatives instead  )

Great bbq, it was too windy for midges  .

About 30 cars attended on Sunday. Once again visitors from as far as Cornwall and the Black Country ran away with the prizes….deservedly!  However yours truly won best in class with “The Brookfields Special” (there was only one entry in the specials class  )

I always enjoyed that rally, it must be 30 years since I last attended.

Hi all, well Howard you missed a great run out, traveling through the vale of Glamorgan and ending up at Ogmore-by-Sea, for a well  deserved ice cream, and we all watch the surfing competition  that was taking place. Then a pleasant  run back to Bryngarw for our communal BBQ. and the a great day on Sunday.roll on next year. S&P
