Sevens invited to Pre War Prescott
#1
Ian Grace is the famous and well respected impresario responsible for the Pre War Prescott gathering which has grown from a meeting of Morrises into a very well attended and international event.  To mark the Seven Centenary, Ian wishes to offer FREE spectator entry on the Saturday, 16th July at Prescott.  Spectating Sevens will be parked in a special display area in the Orchard, adjacent to the hill.  Spectators will have free pedestrian access to the Paddock and the entire hill, trade area, etc.  There will be full catering and bar facilities or simply bring a picnic!

In addition, owners are invited to enter the hillclimb at the regular fee and have the opportunity of untimed climbs of the hill, and many have entered already.  For these entrants, there will be a designated display area in the Paddock by the start line.  There will be all the usual attractions on the lawns of Prescott, and it is hoped that an Austin Seven lunchtime cavalcade might be possible, just before the arrival of the Avro Lancaster.

Sunday17th will see the Cotswold Nav Rally, in which there will be fierce competition for the Lewis & Nicholson Award, between Cowley and Longbridge.  Modesty prevents any report of the usual winning marque, but further Sevens would be most welcome, perhaps for a second team.  For the less competitive, there will be a parallel Scenic Tour around the glorious Cotswolds.  Camping at Prescott is also available all weekend.

Full details of the weekend can be found at http://vintageminor.co.uk/Summerrally202..._2022.html

And entries or spectator entries can be made at https://prewarprescott.com/?page_id=161

For further information or any queries or requests, including camping requests, please contact Ian at vintageminor@gmail.com who will be happy to help.
