Anyway, back to RR's RP; Bakewell area, late 1970s and divorce - I think I may know who that was. I'm not so sure about the Seven/Land Rover/Rolls Royce connection, maybe that occured later? I cannot recall any Sevens with number-before-letter registrations at that time. I'll make some inquiries and report back.
Thanks Mike. The LVLO as it was at the time were very reticent on information so the information prior to Mr Cawthorne is at best anecdotal.
