I imagine you are referring to the one with Matthewsons?

Very strange spiel on their video....

On the register as 12/1927 registered (was once WN847) Chassis 56348 Engine 53545 Body A5 8600 I think I got that down right..shown as "Mulliners". Come & get me estimate if the mechanicals are ok.

I'm surprised to see a CAV switch-panel on a 1927 car.

Yes, but I have seen somewhere - perhaps when it was sold previously? - that the log book carries a 1928 date?

I like the look of these early Mulliner cars with the high scuttle coming off the low bonnet - has a lot of character. Not as keen on the rectangular doors, though.

Were any of them originally red, I wonder?

the mastery of the undersell! "don't buy an Austin 7; no-one wants fabric..."
I think I'd rather listen to that than many others though.
Seemed reasonably knowledgeable through his declaring not to know things.

Derek Mathewson is incredibly knowledgeable and has been at what he does for many years. He knows what he's doing. He has the view, based on his on going real time experience, that the market has moved on from pre-war cars and those in the early post war years to 1960's - 1980's vehicles and any student of the market will confirm that's the case. Of course, we tend to be more interested in the pre-war, Sevens particularly, but I'm afraid we're a shrinking breed and the buyers now are more interested in performance model Fords, GTIs etc. etc.

I'm certainly shrinking.
I am resisting the temptation to add the Mulliner to my fleet!
