For the practical advice... regarding timing and plug leads!
I got the T shirts for those errors on my Morris 8 and MG VA engine
rebuilds!!
Fitted the petrol tank, carburettor , choke control and starting handle
this morning.
Once it does start and drive I’ll be doing a fair bit of adjusting,
brakes , lights, carb tuning etc. Plus I need to sort out a tonneau.
I’ve now got a drive belt for the industrial strength sewing
Machine but I need a piping foot and a zip to get from EBay,
Plus order some fabric to do the tonneau and hood bags,
One for on the car and one for storing the frame in the boot.
Planning to have the hood cover detachable from the frame,
still to work that one out and if I’m up to covering the sidescreen frames Ive made.
If I’ve time before Guildtown I might start up my nickel plating
System to do my door catches and bits for Neil and Ruairidh.
Looking forward to see you and other pals at Guildtown in good weather this time!
